because it was fake :P they probably didn't have enough money for the best CGI, but they did what they could.
alright, I dunno if you guys saw this on SciFi but I taped it with my Direct Tv, knowing full well that it was B and gonna suck and all, but man...I had to pause the movie when he knocked his newly made scarecrow buddy into the mulcher or whatever, because I started laughing so hard, man that looked horrible. That part actually made it somewhat worth it, because i've never had a laugh at hard for awhile.
shareI also watched it on the SciFi Channel. You could tell the movie was going to be bad, but it was worse than I expected. The special effects weren't very special.
