right reasons

Always wondered what may have happened in the deep dark forests of Cold War Russia, what weird disturbing events totalitarianism couldn't control, but could hide. This films' as good a guess as any with a sci-fi line much like Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

An almost empty prop-like rural town is targeted by aliens designing body switches of the locals and those in transit, all in full view of vacant forests and outskirts. I liked the sound effects, they were creepy and fit well with the drizzly gray sky and dangerous patch of woods, where scary things do take place like one may have suspected.

Actually, I liked this movie for all the reasons others disliked it for. I look high and low for obscure offbeat atmospheric films, and think this movie has those qualities. BTW, got a copy for $9.00 at videoscreams.com, well worth my parting of funds.
