RE: Not Possible

I would agree with you about the possibility of Peacemakers coming back but not for the same reasons. The show actually did very well in the ratings and was ranked very high in its timeslot. It was cancelled in the end because it was not drawing enough younger audience. The average age was something like 42-60 or something like that. Advertisers did not want to pay the rates it was going to take to film and make it profitable.

I hate this as I am in my thirties and loved this show. I heard allot of people bashing this show because of the dialogue or simple plots. You know, my life is complicated enough I don't need TV adding to it. If you look at some of the most watched re-runs and movies on TV they are old shows with bad dialogue and simple plots. Think Clint Eastwood movies and original James Bond.

Anyway, Amy Carlson actually liked doing the show and it was Tom Berrenger who was not so thrilled with it. The 16 hour days and filming in British Columbia in a rain storm at his age was not real enjoyable. After reading some interivews he did while the show was on I doubted he wanted to come back.

I would love it if it came back but I wont hold my breath. Even though Tom made the show I would take it back with different characters.
