They should have made this into a movie 15 years ago.

Jessie "The Body" Ventura would have been perfect for the role of Mike Hagger; he so looked the part in The Running Man, fake hair or not. Jackie Chan could have taken the role of Guy, and there were countless people who could have filled the roles for Jessica Hagger and Cody ... ironically, I can't think of any. Maybe Robert Costanzo could have played Belger, too. I guess they could still make a live-action movie today, but it wouldn't hold up as well today because only the real fans would be excited -- some of them, anyway. If they ever make a localized animated movie on this, there is still no one better to play the role of Mike Hagger than Ventura.
