Live action cast with pictures (your verdict needed people)

Hi everyone, I have always been a fan of Final Fight and heard that there was an animated TV series and also a few guest appearances by the Final Fight characters on the Street Fighter animated TV series. But what I would like to know that will a live action Final Fight be a good idea? I think I have the casting right but I need inputs from everyone else. hahaha oh my God, man that's AWESOME!! Haggar and Guy are both PERFECT --- Cody, looks great too, but I always pictured him as a little bit of a shady surfer type --- slightly more gritty, but otherwise excellent.... Jessica, I never game much thought --- although the blonde girl of the two you posted looks more or less like a perfect choice...

man, this made my day! radical!

Wow, thanks for the reply! I am glad you like it, you are my first reply so I am glad that my first reply was a pleasant one, cant get a better reply than that. Reason I chose a blonde and brown haired girl to play Jessica is cos in the game Jessica Haggar is brown haired but in the cartoon (as we saw) she was blonde, the same with Cody, who is Brown haired in the game but is now Blonde in Street Fighter Alpha 3 and the cartoon too!

Hi again director2000!!! Remember me?!!! I made a reply on Street Fighter board about your choices for a live action cast!!! Here i am once more!!! In fact your options are quite good, especially Ralf Moeller for Haggar and Elisha Cutbert for Jessica!!! From my perspective both have similarities with the characters!! However as much as Colin Egglesfield has the look and the build of Cody he's a bit old for it!!! He's 33 and Cody has 20 something according to his bio!!! The same for Mark Dacascos!!! How could a man with 42 years play a character with 26, 27 years!!! Although he looks younger than he really is but we can see he's a old man!!! Anyway i feel that we think almost the same wich is a good thing and who knows if our opinions one day help for a possible Final Fight movie being made!!! I just miss the other characters like Andore, Sodom, Rolento, etc!!! What you think than about this actors for a live action Final Fight:
Cody - Mike Vogel
Guy - Shin Koyamada
Haggar - Ralf Moeller
Jessica - Elisha Cutbert
Belger - Peter Stormare
Rolento - Daniel Bernhardt
Sodom - Derek Mears(with the costume)
Andore - Dalip Singh
Abigail - Nathan Jones
Damnd - Jamal Duff(with the dreadlocks)
Poison - Laura Ramsey(with the purple hair of course)

Hey dude, I remember you, good to hear from you again!
I am glad you agree with 50% of the characters, which isn't bad at all! And I must say that I am very impressed with the effort you have put in casting almost every character in the game, so I take my hat off to you sir!
I do agree with most of your casting, it is great but I tend to go for the actors that can do the physical attributes as well as look the part of the characters they play!

The actors I chose can get away with playing 20something year-olds I mean older ones do but I can see where you are coming from, and I admire your input and criticism, very direct and thorough in explanation. Thanks again for your reply director2000!!! It helps to understand your point of view!!! Actually as you say you tend to chose actors that has the physical and looking aspects!!! But we cannot forget also the background of the characters especially if we talk about a adaptation!!! We know that in the games Cody and Guy have 20 something and even if actors with 30 or 40 something, wich is the case of Colin and Mark, play the parts the audience would notice that especially the game maniacs!!! We have to think also the aspect of famous actors!!! We know that Mark is a knowing actor and a good one so he could carry a movie like this being a main character, but what about Colin!!! Remember Street Fighter?!!! Who was the main character: Guile!!! And why Ken and Ryu was reduced to second characters?!!! Because they where played by Damien Chapa and Byron Mann, not knowing actors at that time!!! But tell me now what you think about my choices!!! Maybe we can agree with 100% of the characters!!!

I think for a final fight movie AJ styles from TNA wrestling would make a great Cody. Also Bill Goldberg would be a sweet Haggar. As far as bad guys i think Andore should be played by Dalip Singh i think someone else mentioned that one. A problem with the movie might be how can you create so many bad guys who looked the same? There was hundreds of the same guys so they would have to make certain scenes where Haggar and Cody are in a free for all with 10-15 guys and then have some select scenes for special characters and bosses. I would love to see them recreate that gritty feeling of being in the slums and then working there way through different parts of the city that would be reallly cool i love that game.

That's funny, I also thought Nathan Jones would be perfect as Abigail. If you watch Tom Yum Goong, he's basically Abigail. He does the exact same things! He screams and charges! Definate choice.
