From what I have seen, it looks doubtful that there will be any more Eloise movies. Now this just illustrates Disney's bad decisions. I am not a huge fan of Eloise but my wife is and a lot of her friends and their children are as well. This can't cost hardly anything to make and it does very well with young girls audiences. SO what in the world is their rpoblem? They already have the cast and stories set up from the books so it would simply be a matter of getting Juile Andrews to do it.

Disney has made a ton of bad decisions in the past few years.

My assumption is because I would have expected it already and the little girl who played Eloise is going to get older. SO either you have to recast (which I don't think will work) or have an older gilr play a young girl character. Both will not work in my opinion.

I totally agree - I just hope they use Sofia in the role. She is perfect. They could adapt the role to be a little older. I have already made the suggestion of Eloise in Paris - where she could be a 10 yr old, for example and living in Paris with Nanny.

I agree totally...Sofia is 'ELOISE ' it would not be the same with out her..

I am not sure it would work. Sofia is eighteen now, I think she may be passed her "Eloise" days.

Obviously you're wrong. Check out Yahoo-news or julieandrews.co.uk to see that they're shooting Eloise in Paris right now. And Julie Andrews is doing it as well. So don't conclude until you know for sure.

I haven't seen that yet and I haven't seen it listed on IMDB as either filming or in production. I still want to know how well it holds up with the actress getting older. But I hope it works out well.

I wrote "Eloise at the Plaza" and "Eloise in Paris." I know the producers WANT to make "Paris" -- but I'm not sure they've gotten anywhere with it yet.

What is the basic premise of the storyline for Paris if they do make it? I mean other than what is in the book? The storylines for the other two are what made the films.

cabal24 is right. Disney waited too long to make more of these films and now the kid who plays Eloise is too old. She looks 13 in Medium and nowhere near 6
