I asum her father "has joined the chior". This leaves her mother to run the family furtune.

The Plaza is their home. At first I thought this was a bit silly, but I am sure that having a large house that is largely empty is silly too. In the end, living in a hotel may indeed be a good idea. No hiring servents, less fuss all around with as many servies as one could hope for and at center location too.

"Join the choir"? You mean prison? Or that he wasn't among the living?

And plus, Eloise can be friends to the people in the hotel instead of just having servants.

I believe her father is dead. During the last movie, they explained that the lawyer was "her mother's lawyer." Therefore, either dad was never in the picture to begin with, or he's dead.

It isnt uncommon to be able to own apartments in hotels in New York. You can still do it. It's very much the same as any other white glove apartment, except there are more events (which, as was expressed in the first movie, is a big love of both Eloise and her mother), more services, and they're usually located in more desirable areas.

Or that he's an Angel. A legit warrior-class High Angel. With Eloise's mother a guidance-class High Angel and Eloise herself an Angel descendant - a family of legit Angels; authentic, wise, caring, beacon-like angels with legit sacred magical powers - albeit not exactly dead(Angels can also be among the livings). Their entire family gives out a mysterious temperament, even Walters could be Eloise's father in transformational disguise, and appeared only after the movie story ended(which makes it an unrecorded story).

Eloise's family gives inspiration for new stories. I'm compiling a part now. And I'm picturing Eloise's father to be an unconventionally handsome figure with low, firm commanding voice, very high dignity and overwhelming temperament. Agent Kringle of FBI was Nick Kringle, Kris' son and the father's childhood friend.

Suddenly a voice rang out across the lobby. "I would watch my words in front of her if I were you."
