furlong was the best crow yet...lee sucked

Brandon lee just sucked man he was every depressed unpopular 14 year old boys hero. and the reason fat teenagers without many friends wear long black coats and think they are dark (if he hadn't died he would be a nobody by now)

the other 2 (mabius and perez)were just middle of the road neither here nor there really but eddie furlong just brought a new vibe to the crow he was a lot more moody and less gothy than the others

for me this was the best crow film by far dennis hopper was funny as hell in can't belive he said those lines with a straight face. And tara reid is just awesome.

Let it be known, sons and daughters, that Satan was an acid head.

hi? Eddie's My Boy!!!!!! I loved Him as The Crow!!!!!!!!!!! But Brandon Lee Was Good Also.

reply

i disagree on all accounts you creep

reply

I disagree that Furlong was the best crow yet. He comes at a 2nd compared to BRANDON LEE! BAR NONE!!!
(Greatest to least)
1. Brandon Lee
2. Edward Furlong
3. Eric Mabius
4. Vincent Perez

I don't mean to sound like a creepy fanboy, but Brandon Lee really did play the best crow. He put the most emotion and drive into the character. Not too far behind him though, was Vincent Perez. In my opinion on a scale of one to ten, Lee was a nine and Perez was between a seven and an eight. But Mabius, and especially Furlong, could not even be included. They were so incredibly bad I could not force myself to watch either of the last two crow movies of my own free will. I've only seen the third movie once so I won't be too hard on it, but wicked prayer was inexcusable. I could not believe it when he said the line "Quoth the Raven never more Mother Fu@#er!" It was beyond ridiculous. That movie was far below David Boreanaz, I can understand Tara Reid being in it, but poor Dennis Hopper. My god, what was he thinking.

If this wasn't a crow movie I'd of loved it. But seriously, everything thing they did was just to *beep* on the original. The entire movie was a pure joke, even 'The Crow' who was no longer gothic or anything, but just pure Emo.

The movie was entertaining, but as a Crow movie it sucked.

reply

I personally think Eric Mabius was the best crow.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Edward Furlong fan, but his acting just wasn't up to mark, and the fight scenes wern't that good in Wicked Prayer.
The first Crow movie with Brendon Lee is second best for me.
The second Crow movie staring that Perez guy was just so fu cking annoying, I couldn't understand a word that guy said! His accent kinda lets it down, as well as the lame story line. I didn't really like the whole atmosphere to that movie anyway.
The Crow: Salvation for me all the way! The most good looking Crow in my opinion anyway!

The paycheque, Hopper and Boreanaz were thinking about the paycheque.

Sorry, but it's Lee and Furlong, and neither Mabius/Perez deserves to be mentioned with them. Mabius was "too purty" to be a gritty character like "The Crow" and Perez doesn't seem strong enough for the role. I am abit biased towards Lee, but the other three, how NOTHING on Lee for the role of "The Crow."

What about Mark Dacascos?

reply

I agree... well, Brandon Lee is the ONLY Crow for me, I don't even acknowledge the other ones

reply

I agree this crow sucked so bad i feel like crying when watching it.I hope this is last one and i hope I wont be saying this again when crow 47 comes out.

Brandon Lee was the best crow ever all others suck.

reply

^ This. In spades.

i must agree (contrary to tons of other people) that Furlong made for an excellent 'Crow'. i still, and always will love the first film w/Lee. classic; most "dark" films have sharp black/white contrast, usually at least 70% or more black/shadows contrasted w/ brighter whites (watch any 'dark-themed' flick and you'll see it). Lee was and will always be remembered as the best. the 2nd movie was garbage with an identical plot/character scheme as the first, swapping the fiancee for a son (no taste or respect). the third w/ Mabius was fantastic and made enough, but not too much of a departure from 1&2. Wicked prayer is excellent; some complain of Furlong as the lead, but who'd be a better choice than one of the last people you'd expect? it also tied the Crow mythos into south-western culture very well. sure, he used a sharpee, but at this point there aren't many more ways to get that distinctive and required eyes/mouth look.

Furlong was the best Crow?

Looks like even the people who made the movie didn't agree with you. This movie was almost painful to watch.

None of the sequels come close to the original Crow, and I'm not saying that because Brandon Lee died.

reply

haha that guy was ok but no1 has come close to Brandon Lee was the best i will admit this guy was very good in it not sayin he isnt but Lee play it alil bit better to me

''I Am McLovin'' SuperBad

Are u on crack? I do believe that Edward Furlong was good in wicked prayer, but Brandon Lee was the best. Mark Dacascos was good to (in STH: the tv series)but Brandon invested so much time, effort and was dedicated to the film so much that u can see his dedication on the screen (unlike COA which was HORRIBLE, could've been way better)
