I Wanna Be an Oscar Winner

That's got to be the most corniest musical number I've ever seen at the Oscars, featuring all those "Stars Of Tomorrow" like Ricki Lake, Christian Slater, Corey Feldman, Matt Lattanzi.....etc..

They sing about wanting to win an Oscar one day, making it sound like they have to be 'older' to win. There never was any age restriction on winning an Oscar. River Phoenix was nominated that night for a Best Supporting Actor award and he was in the same age range as those 'Stars Of Tomorrow' on stage.

The only good thing to come out of this corny spectacle was the presentation Lucille Ball and Bob Hope gave for it. That would be Ball's final public appearance before her death.
