Was the rick james story true?

in season 2 they have an episode where charlie murphy is talking about him and rick james hanging out. was that completely made up or did that stuff really happen?

Yes it happened..I mean its not 100% accurate..I mean they of course took a couple liberties and exaggerated a couple of things..but for all intents and purposes true....and yes on another note..like the Prince skit, Prince himself said that he did beat Charlies Murphy in basketball but he wasnt wearing the same stuff he had on at the club lol.

Eddie Murphy confirmed the Rick James story was true. There were some embellishes of the truth but for the most part it was true!
