"A "mind-numbingly boring" propaganda film
By Kristen Breitweiser"

"...It is understandable that so little time is actually devoted to the president's true actions on the morning of 9/11. Because to show the entire 23 minutes from 9:03 to 9:25 a.m., when President Bush, in reality, remained seated and listening to "second grade story-hour" while people like my husband were burning alive inside the World Trade Center towers, would run counter to Karl Rove's art direction and grand vision.

Remember the aircraft-carrier photo op? Bush is a man of action; in fact, he is an action hero. Except, of course, when it really counts, like in those early morning hours when this country was under attack and our commander in chief was drinking milk and eating cookies with second graders. Can you imagine one of those second-graders years from now when they are asked where they were on the morning of 9/11? They will simply say, "I was sitting with the president reading him a story..."

HAVE A LIBERAL DAY

reply

testing to see if this works ;-)

reply

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I never realized IMDbwould become such a hotbed of juvenile Bush-hatred. It's kind of cute how liberals will even attempt to hijack a FILM SITE to rant and rave. I guess it's better than trying to come up with an agenda.

Anyway, I apologize for this counterpost. I was reading about George Takei and happened into here! I won't try to foist an opposing view on everyone, though, because this isn't really the forum (sorry IMDb), and, as I've always said, you can always tell a Libby, but you can't tell him much.

GO DEAN!

reply

Yeah, I almost forgot what site I was on! The IMDB hosting liberal dribble? Its going to hell in a handbasket.

reply

it's better than the self-serving propaganda of the right, *beep*.

"I never realized IMDbwould become such a hotbed of juvenile Bush-hatred."

Yes, that is right, Kristen Breitweiser is nothing but a juvenile Bush-hater. Her husband died in the WTC; you can hardly call that the rantings of a silly teenager, rather the crie de coeur of an adult whose world was destroyed on that day. If anyone has the right to tell off the President for failing the nation on that day, she certainly does. Even six years later I still cannot believe what a bunch of tools there were who backed Bush on absolutely everything and attacked the decency and credibility of anyone who dared criticize him. I am sure that you "loyal Bushies" are now singing a different tune about whether or not you can ever criticize the President. I have always supported the absolute right of Americans to criticize their government. Our liberties depend on it. You right-wing tools flip-flop depending on who is in office. While you are excoriating our present Commander-in-Chief, try not to make absolutely everything up: free speech and government in a free society demands that we all take the responsibility to seek the truth, not make up smears against people you a priori determine is your opponent.
