Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar, Hogan vs. McMahon

This card is shaping up to be one of the strongest in the history of WrestleManias. Angle/Lesnar is match thats been building since Lesnar's debut. Hogan/McMahon is a match that people have wanted to see but never thought they would. This by far outdoes McMahon/Austin. Then you add in the possibility of Rock/Austin and its a supercard. Yet I do think that Austin/Rock can only go so many times. Its not like a Flair/Steamboat or Angle/Edge where no matter what their matches are exciting.

Heres my list of the top 10 WrestleManias
10. WrestleMania 13- For one reason only Austin/Hart
9. WrestleMania 4- A classic tournament for the gold that had some of the best matches Ive seen
8. WrestleMania 8- Bret/Piper, Savage/Flair when it was cool, And Hogan/Vicious was great but too far up on the card
7. WrestleMania X-8- Hogan/Rock was a lot of hype but little spectacular action, Undertaker/Flair was an execllent blood bath, Triple H/Jericho was good too.
6. WrestleMania 12- The only saving grace to this card was the classic Iron Man. Granted there was little high impact but it was great classsic wrestling.
5. WrestleMania 6- The Ultimate Challenge was the Rock/Austin of its day. Million Dollar belt was interesting as was the mixed tag team.
4. WrestleMania 10- Overall great card with the famed ladder match, Luger/Yoko was a good match with a bad ending. Luger/Hart would have been the better main event. Crush/Savage was a great final WM appearance for Savage
3. WrestleMania 14- HBK/Austin, Kane/Taker, HHH/Hart, and the Dumpster match all made for another score.
2. WrestleMania 3- This was a very close second and was my number 1 til it was unseated. Hogan/Andre was everything it was billed to be even Andre couldnt give it his all, and of course Savage/Steamboat in what I think is in the top three IC Title Matches ever.
And the number one pick.....

WrestleMania X-7: From top to bottom it was the best card Ive ever seen. TLC, Benoit/Angle, McMahon/McMahon, and the best Rock/Austin ever with the twist at the end. It doesnt get much better than this for a WrestleMania.
I realize some might be upset by the exclusion the first WM or even at my inclusion of 13 but oh well.

That's a pretty good list. Here's mine, now that WMXIX has passed:

10. WrestleMania 12 - A one trick pony that has some probably unintentional humorous sections. The main event was terrific, as was Shawn Michaels's entrance. The Diesel vs Undertaker match is okay for guys that big, but the Goldust vs Piper stuff is just too funny. Between this and "They Live", Piper should be given a Lifetime Achievement Oscar.

9. WrestleMania 6 - Hogan passes the torch. At least for a little while. The main event was great, and the undercard had some cool stuff, mostly involving Jake Roberts and Ted DiBiase.

8. WrestleMania 13 - This is definitely a show feuled by a singular match: Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. A history making match in a rather boring WrestleMania. There were still some great moments, however.

7. WrestleMania 5 - A great main event feud gives this one precedence. Hogan vs Savage is one of the greatest rivalries in wrestling, and they put on the best match they could here. The rest of the card is sort of forgettable, though.

6. WrestleMania XV - This was a very memorable WrestleMania with a nice payoff to the Vince vs Austin rivalry and a good continuation of the Rock vs Austin rivalry. The Triple H heel turn was done magnificently, and the rest of the show was full of Vince Russo stuff that was actually entertaining.

5. WrestleMania X - A great way to celebrate a decade of WrestleManias, and a great place to do it. There were lots of crappy matches, but several very, very good ones. A historic ladder match, a fantastic opener, and a nice ending that showed that the WWF could float without Hulk Hogan.

4. WrestleMania XIX - It's saying a lot, but this show was awesome. It had at least five great matches on there, and there was nothing that was completely terrible.

3. WrestleMania 3 - A huge number of people, and one of the most historic matches of all time: Hogan vs Andre. It's not this high by that match alone, however. Savage vs Steamboat easily stole the show, and is probably one of the best WrestleMania match to this day, second only to Bret vs Owen.

2. WrestleMania 8 - The HoosierDome is my favorite WrestleMania venue of all time. The match that made this card was Flair vs Savage. The crowd was insane during the entire thing, and everything worked better than anyone could have imagined. The return of the Ultimate Warrior was great, too.

1. WrestleMania X-7 - Can't argue with this. It's the greatest wrestling PPV of all time, let alone WrestleMania. The last two matches have such a huge, epic feel to them, and the AstroDome provided a fantastic atmosphere.

very good list joe fixit, but you should've mentioned wrestlemania XIV, with the start of the attitude era and stone cold era.(dont get mad, i miss the old days of wrestling too!)

i love all wrestlmanias

in order from least to greatest

10.V-great matches but the build up for Macho and Hogan kept this thing alive.
9.VI-ooooooh Hogan and Warrior, two men, two icons, two heroes, only one winner
8.XI-very strong throughout except the Taylor Bam Bam match was a bit weak.
7.III-i loved two matches only, We should all know these two historical matches
6.X-cool as anything. missed Hogan but kept strong with the ladder match.
5.XIX-sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
4.VII-great match between Macho and Warrior, as well as Hogan vs Slaughter.
3.XII-ooooooooh HBK vs Hart. Nuff said, + we got Piper vs that weird Goldust
2.VIII-no match ever stook out in my head but was very fun.
1.IX-well Hogan came back in a big way and where else to have Yoko fight twice and Hogan fight twice and have 8 excuse me 9 matches that never got tiring especially an unpredicted wildcard between the Steiners and Samoan brothers. Oh ya and how great was Taker vs Gonzales?

Wrestlemania 9? Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez? As your #1 pick? Are you kidding me? That had to be one of the worst matches of all time, and worst Wrestlemania ever. Any match with Gonzalez isn't good, even if the opponent is the Undertaker. Sure, it was probably interesting ( I haven't seen it yet, but read reviews about it), and probably a blast to be there live, but try reading a WM 9 review, you'll see how bad it is. But it's your opinion I guess, I just totally disagree with it.

This is my signature, nice eh?

Yokozuna wrestled 2 matches at Wrestlemania 10 also, so did Bret Hart. And they were MUCH better than Hogan and Yokozuna's matches at WM 9. The Yoko/Hogan at IX didn't even last a minute, I don't see how it can be called a match...oh well. I'm sorry to jump all over you on that, but it's all true. I agree with everything else you listed...pretty much. I'd add or change some of those if that was my list. But it isn't.

So I'd definitely say Bret vs Owen, and Bret vs Yokozuna from WM 10 were better than Money Inc vs Hogan & Beefcake, and Yokozuna vs Hogan at IX.

Luger vs Yoko at X was ok but not great, I've only read reviews about Bret/Yoko from IX, it seemed like it was pretty good.

This is my signature, nice eh?
