There was absolutley no way that Rock would have lost. He's too good of a wrestler to have succumed again. The Rock in my opinion is the greatest wrestler of all time, the greatest entertainer/trash-talker/promo-cutter/ You name it The Rock has it. It was just a matter of time before Austin had figured it out. And yes Hogan is no Austin. Hogan's better.

Wrong call . WWE has never had an athlete come close to the standards of MJ simply because no wrestler was able to be equally good at being a draw as well as being an awesome in ring athlete. The ones who came closest to that would be HBK and then Hart. They were both amazing draws as well as amazing wrestlers. Austin at best was a decent wrestler(pre- neck injury). The same goes for Rock as well. As for Hogan, he was all about showmanship, nothing else.

It did look like Austin to a knock after the 2nd rock bottom , maybe the ref called it to end , have another look at it on youtube his head hits the mat with force. lol they say yhe two of them did cry at the end, Rock does say something to austin after the 3 count , something like thank you.

my favorite wrestler is Austin but Rock is a close 2nd and Hogan has done alot for wrestling but he should have retired like 10 years ago.
shareThe Rock and Stone Cold are the best of the best, you can't tell who's better I mean you got a 7 time WWE champion, who has done it all. And you have WWE's toughest SOB. But Austin did things that The rock didn't do like: beating HBK in WM, winning the Royal Rumble 3 times. The rock did things that Austin couldn't do like: beating Hulk Hogan at WM, winning the WWE championship 7 times, winning the WCW championship twice. The Rock and Austin are 2 straight A class superstars, however WWE wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, I'm not trying to say that Hogan is better then Rock and Austin. clearly the fans like Rock and Austin better. But when it comes down to who's the best off all time I'd have to give the edge to The Rock. He has all the skills to be the best. But it's a shame he left WWE but in a lot of ways that was a wise choice. Some people call The Rock a "sell out" it's not like Triple H, Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan haven't gone to hollywood. anyways a few people would disagree with me, but hey everyone has an opinion, I respect yours and I expect you to respect mine.
