UK wide release confirmed...

Carnaby Films have confirmed 'SPiVS' will get a UK wide release on 24 September 2004.

Can't wait for this film, not least because Ken Stott is magnificent, but it also actually sounds darn good!

Support Brit films and SEE IT!

This is great news!
I saw this film in December and was very impressed.

I tend to judge a film by how long it can keep me awake for - usually no more than 10 minutes! This one kept me on the edge of my seat till the end - so it must be quite something.

Ken Stott stars in Messiah III on Monday 30 August so this will not do the film any harm either.

Like you, I can't wait for Sept 24th, just so that I can see it again.

So all of you - go and see it - and tell your friends!

I can't seem to find it listed on any cimema chains future releases?

Does anyone know where it is being shown outside of London?
What did the ad say? Any venues mentioned?
I have e-mailed Carnaby twice, asking for information about cinema locations but they have not replied which is a little worrying.

Starting Fri Sep 24, London venues are:

Apollo West End
Edmonton Lee Valley UCI 12
Enfield UGC
Greenwich thefilmworks
Newham Showcase
Romford Ster Century
South Woodford Odeon
Wood Green Cineworld

It's also being shown at the Covent Garden Hotel on Friday at 7.30pm. Invitation only.

Quote from Carnaby:
"We would urge as many as you to go to the cinema on the weekend of the 24th September. We are certain you will enjoy the experience of this new British film, which many in the industry have described as one of the best British films in recent years. Carnaby are excited about the forthcoming release of SPiVS, as it is a flagship film in the slate of British films which Carnaby are currently producing."

Where are the cinemas?
