Dominic Monaghan was very funny, true his charavter was a bit thinely written, but he displayed excellent comic timing i thought. I was actually really impressed with this film, i expected a fast and silly crime caper but what i got was a genuinely touching and funny film.
"Power to the army that crush them all. And fear to those who oppose hat army!" Raoul
I was slightly disappionted with the ending, I thought it fell a bit flat, but generally speaking, I really liked it. Bloody hell, the deaths were a punch in the face, big time! Yes, some people really don't know a good (British AND independant) movie. The Dom comment has pissed me off slighlty. I think he's a great actor, and I wish he'd had a more substancial role, some more along the lines of his scene with Jack at the ice-rink. But he does comedy best, and in this film very much so. Charlie's always going to be my favourite, but Goat comes close second.
THANKYOU! doms character was the only thing that brought a bit of lightness to the film. don't blame bad lines on him, he didn't write it. and anyway the script was really good and deep. the writers have a great ability to change the tone of the movie so dramatically. do you think you could come up with somethng better- not being nasty or anything, just saying.
Mmm... you may be right. I didn't really notice, I think I was a bit too busy thinking 'weyhey, Dom in a different movie!' They could have just stuck with his usual (smecksy) accent and assume he immigrated south ;)
Dom = Shiny Would fangirlism be as appealing if it were healthy?
