Fell free to name any films about the particular decade called the Swinging Sixties. My personal choices:

Antonioni's Blowup

and of course

The Life and Death of Peter Sellers
Quadrophenia (sort of)
The Magic Christian
the films from the Austin Powers series

I know there is a difference, but I listed them in no particular order or with no particular rating. Besides, I meant films about the swinging Sixties, irrespective if they were actually made during this age or not.

A few other excellent ones that come to mind immediately:
"Petulia"
"Darling"
"Alfie"
"Georgy Girl"
"The President's Analyst"
"The Killing of Sister George" (really more dark than "swinging," but it captures the era's subcultures well)
"Valley of the Dolls" (OK, it's not excellent, but very entertaining)
"Gimme Shelter" (the party's over)
