Since neither the lead nor any of the other characters in this movie seemed to be named Rekka, does anyone know what the title "Deadly Outlaw: Rekka" is supposed to mean?

Wonderin' that myself :) BTW the movie was gonna be called Violent Fire (!) In the USA

It's not the name of a character as far as I know.
Rekka is the japanese word for 'raging fire'.
That would explain the USA title 'Violent Fire'.
