SCORSESE LIKES THIS MOVIE!'!!!

Yes, it is good, very deliberately paced. The plot is not so much the focus, but a study on the characters. If you are watching it expecting it to be like a Scorcese film, you may be disappointed.
But if you're into drama and character study then this is a good movie to watch.

Of all the directors I've seen interviewed I've always thought Scorcese to be the most affable. I'm glad to hear he enjoyed the movie, though it doesn't surprise me. Scorcese exudes good taste.
