Very Similar Story to En la ciudad sin límites

I find the plot of this film to be very similar to the Spanish film, En la ciudad sin Límites. Has anybody else seen that film?

I do not know the film you mention but personally, I thought there were similarities to another italian film, Una giornata particolare (A special day) directed by Ettore Scola in 1977.
