Hi, does anyone know where in Rome this movie was shot? Is it Travestevre?

When they first meet Davide, the bridge is Ponte Sisto, leading from Campo de' Fiori to Piazza Trilussa in Trastevere. Not sure exactly where the cafe they meet up in is but it's definitely familiar-somewhere in the centre/trastevere as it has cobblestones and I recognise the fountain-if it comes to me I'll let you know. As for where they live, it could be anywhere, though it really reminds me of some of the old parts of Garbatella. Hope that helps!

The cafe is Bar Taruga in Piazza Mattei, in the Ghetto. I think the area where Giovanna and Lorenza live was shot in Cinecitta studios, so it isn't necessarily a "real" Roman location, though it might obviously be based on somewhere like Garbatella.

Most of the movie was in the ghetto. Ghetto was the part of Rome were the jews were living.
