Overly Underrated At the Awards

"Ek Hasina Thi" is quite possible the most perfectly executed Bollywood Movie I've seen to date. The story, the acting, it was not your usual dancing-around-half-naked-women-in-shiny-costumes Indian movie. It had a realistic story line and Urmila's acting was just superb!
I'm just very disappointed that it didn't get that good of a reception with general audiences and is rated as an "Average" and "O.K." movie. I was expecting this movie to take all the Awards with a storm, but sadly no one really appreciates good film-making in India, all people still want is "Chamak Challo's" and "Sheila's".
I don't even think I've ever seen Urmila in any movie after this, I can imagine how disappointing and dis-heartening this experience must've been for her, after the brilliant performance she gave.

Yes, this is one hell of a thriller. Even Hitchcock could not have made it better.
What I am wondering though is: why the mix of English and Hindi in Indian movies..?
