When will we be able to see this in the US?

I was just wondering if anyone has heard when this film will be making it's way sate-side? I'd really like to see this one. Let's hope it doesn't take too long.

Wow. Crap. Still haven't seen anything about this yet, and it looks like no one else really cares though. I'll see this someday…

Despite the fact that the reviews here are less than enthusiastic, I'd still like to see it.

My god, how long has it been? 5 years? YES!
I just walked into Blockbuster and saw it on the shelf. I didn't realize it was this one at first and had to go back to check. It was so good to see it!

Lionsgate DVD is not a total disaster, the picture quality is good. But it's a weak release. Not only is a barebones edition, the audio track is unremarkable to say the least (Spanish 2.0).

Anyway this is better than nothing, I suppose. Talking about the movie itself, I ended very disappointed by this film. IMO this is one of the worst adaptations of Carmen that I've ever seen.
My recommendation for all those who loves Carmen: rent Carlos Saura's version. Is better acted, better scripted and much better directed.
