I always see this post.. 'WORST EVER', this isn't

This was a fun movie. It's not a scary vampire movie, but it's a lot of fun. The cameo by Jackie Chan was great and the english dubs were better than I've seen in a lot of imports. I know people always want to pick movies apart and bash the heck out of them on imdb, I'm frankly tired of seeing the "worst movie ever" post on EVERY movie I go to. They can't ALL be the worst ever, and this had some real entertainment to it. It's comedy/vampire movie, but far from a horror movie. The comedy doesn't get TOO out of control... well.. let's not count the one scene with the vampires on anti-depressants (you'll just have to see it in context). It's worth watching as long as you know it's NOT a horror movie, have fun with it and take it in it's intended vein.

Yes...it's not the WORST...but it's damn sure one of the worst ( 2 / 10 ) Jackie Chan couldn't even save this train wreck .

Thank you OP for an intelligent post in a sea of stupid worst movie ever posters. As soon as someone posts WME their opinion is lessened to that of an infantile moron who has no concept of really bad movies.

It's funny you hardly ever see Best Movie Ever threads.

If Jackie Chan's role was bigger, i would be considering this as one of JC's best. And saying that, i'm not suggesting something like "so bad it's so good". I give it 9/10. I think the movie was very good.
But seeing topics like "worst ever", now i'm thinking maybe it's because of dubbing?.. Or if the haters watched the movie in original, maybe actors' toning of Chinese alienated them a bit from the movie?..

I'm saying that, because i've posted something on another board, saying that Rush Hour was one of my favourites of Jackie, and being asked how. Stating my purposes, i also mentioned that i've watched it in my mother language, and when i saw Rush Hour 2 in original, Chris Tucker's non-stop talkings alienated me a bit from the movie. Then more people addressed that they didn't like it too. Sometimes dubbing can have an affect on the movie. In Rush Hour's case, it was good for me.

Maybe seeing both this movie and Rush Hour in my favourites, some JC fans can think that i'm not much into his movies, but let me say that, including Rumble in Hong Kong, Crime Story, Fantasy Mission Force(which are less known) i've seen nearly all Jackie's movies(excluding cameos), and yes, if his role was bigger, this one could enter my top ten list of JC.
