Contrast with 'Temps qui reste'? (both superb)

I liked this movie a lot. Excellent acting. I also recently watched Temps Qui Reste (trying to revive my rusty French and enjoy great movies at the same time), which I also thought was fantastic, and it is interesting to contrast these two movies. Has anyone else watched both?

also saw and loved both although I've seen time to leave many more times. only the french could make 2 movies about essentially the same topic so brilliantly.
