He did such a good job as Melman! I don't think Melman would be my fave character if David didn't voice him. Just the way he delivers his lines! Anyone else love him? Or share who your fave characters are and why!

I loved him on Friends but this movie was just fantastic. I don't think they could have picked anyone better to play Melman.
I also loved the King Julian, and Mort!
And of course, who doesn't love the penguins? :]

Waiting for my life to be changed....
Although I own Madagascar I sometimes watch it when it comes on and I would have to say that Melman the giraffe is my favorite character because I have discovered that Melman and I are alike and you could say that I could be Melman's human twin. For one thing I tend to complain about aches because I get charley horses in my legs and sometimes my mom won't believe me and take care of my aches most of the time. Another thing that Melman and I have in common is that we both dislike staying in strange places and I do wish that I could go back home during vacations. Even sometimes my mother calls me Melman because everytime I see Madagascar I smile because Melman is just like me. I sure do wish I had a stuffed Melman because he's my favorite Madagascar character. Second is Gloria the hippo because of her attitude
