Hello there, I am a foreigner and I am writing my MA thesis on song translation in animated feature films. Could somebody explain the following lines to me?

And ya nice hip,make man flip and bust up them lip
I have problems with "flip", and "bust up them lip" does it have any specific meaning?

Well, coming from a non-native speaker, this might be one theory:
"And ya nice hip" = self-explanatory
"Make man flip" = He'll have his eyes "glued" to the nice hips, and will trip on an obstacle and fall over("flip")
"And bust up them lip" = After tripping, he hits the pavement face-first and busts his lip.
I can usually work out what most english phrases mean, but the weird hip-hop lingo is still a mystery, so this is just a theory.

LOL...Wow, funny old post... having spoke American English w/Texan dialect for 50 years, there are still regional, ethnic and just plain new words & phrases that , to me, remain vague or undefined. I wonder if other languages go through the same "augmentation" as Am English?
