The Endless Western European Nightmare

Just caught this on Link TV. Very impressive uncompromising in depth look at the awful situation existing today (2008 - movie set in 2003) for the host populations in W Europe, reeling under the onslaught of thousands of illegals from E Europe attempting to gouge a better life for themselves from the lives of the host populations (in this case Germany) who are not fortunate enough to be members of the professional middle classes and profit from cheap domestic help/child care.

With the possible exception of the German photographer, every single character in this miserable tale is greedy, made stupid by greed, unscrupulous or despicable, sometimes a combination of all four. Even the Polish cab driver, with whose plight I had a little sympathy, turned out to be a thief stealing from the stupid young Ukrainian couple as they made their way home. The driver, of course, was also stupid, as was his wife. Why waste hard earned money on a splashy ostentatious communion frock when the means was at hand all the time to make a nice one for nothing...see? Stupid. I was heartened to see the German immigration officer refuse to entertain the notion of Kolya being an 'asylum seeker'. That is an insult to the very few genuine asylum seekers crossing borders these days, and far too many bogus claims are made.

Here's the thing - These people aren't even poor - not really poor, they've got cars, for heavens sake, and money to pay people smugglers. They are simply discontented, want what they see on their satellite TVs, and decide to grab it. It matters to them not one whit that their presence, illegal, criminal, in W European society means that some native German, Brit, Frenchmen, has to go without something they should be entitled to. Mention that fact to any one of these illegals and you will be met with a shrug and a cold stare of indifference. The icing on the cake, of course, and the most highly indicative point of this movie was Kolya, after that rather foolish woman risked jail and possible deportation herself to help him, thieving the expensive professioal camera from the back seat of the car in which she had smuggled him into Germany.

Thanks to all concerned in the making of this movie for such a truthful look at the type of person slithering into europe and destroying what had been so carefully and with such effort built up over the centuries. We don't need them!

It's almost like the situation in the US with illegal mexican immigrants. The main difference is that you can tell who is mexican and who is not for the most part. This means the mexicans don't really start as much trouble and are usually relatively friendly to Americans when they come into contact with them. I am only speaking of my own personal experiences as I've met many legal and illegal mexicans and they are almost always friendly. Europeans can mix into other European countries much easier, appearence-wise.
Also, in this movie, it seemed as though everything costs 200 monetary units (I forget what they were). Almost all of the characters in this film were either greedy, nieve, or stupid.
