Who played the SS officer??

I've seen Entrusted twice and think it's a bloody good movie and Thomas Sangster is a really good actor. But could anyone tell me who played the SS Officer? I couldn't catch his name when he introduced himself to Catherine, and only managed to catch "an SS Officer" after his name. Which actor played him? I think he has great eyes and really cute. :D
