I saw this this weekend on tv, and was confused, maybe some of it was due to editing, but def. not all.

Karen, if you see Jesus, tell him to take the gerbil babies! They're Christians!

reply

Yeah I agree, I couldn't work out much that was going on.
Who really was the killer?
You assume it was that dude from 20 years before, but who really knows.
I thought it was rather boring too, not much horror to it.
And what is the deal with 2 main names?
The cover says, "Evil Remains" but the actual movie has "Trespassing".
Seriously, this movie is confusing & pointless.

Okay, this is what I got out of it. The 'ground' is cursed by madness, so all who enter go mad. The Dr. guy warns them kinda by telling them to make sure why they're really going out there. I think, that basically once you set foot on the property, eventually you go insane and think that there's a killer because you start to believe the story about the boy who killed his parents. I think the boy killed his parents because he went insane too, not necessarily because he was a born killer, so it made for a good story because his body was supposedly never found. So to sum it up, yes a man in a dog mask killed them, but was it the killer teenager or did the curse of insanity make them believe thats who it was? You tell me. This was just my take on it.

I didn't think it was that bad. I thought the acting was good, but the writing could have been better.

Although, I really liked the Eric character (being that he was the only one with a personality), and since he was the first one to kick the bucket, the rest kinda lost it's spark for me.

reply

yeah, after eric died i lost interest

still don't get the ending tho o_O O_O O_o

That's kinda how it was for me, but I watched it at 1am, alone, in the dark, so of course I was a bit freaked out. xD; Despite its flaws, it's pretty fsking scary under those circumstances.

Odds are, you won't offend me. If I offend you... get over it.

I'd say the vast majority of the dialog didn't make any sense, and when I could figure out what they were talking about, it was completely stupid. I didn't make it to the end. Those two lesbians going on and on and on and on and on abut their relationship. I think the brown haired one was certainly retarded. It was just unbearable.

that sums it all up.

The camera work, the music, the directing was excellent to make a horror movie, especially since its very low budget. BUT the scenario... well i kinda hate to be left in the confuse... Was it the boy from 20 years ago, was it Tyler? Was it any other guy? Hard to say, cause there is no big revelation at the end that its one dude and explain... They really leave the killer in the fog and it really bothered me personally. This can't be Kristy as she spent all day in the woods with the Ashley Scott character...

The whole "there was no body, no blood" at the end kinda make it impossible to sort out, cause to that point it could had been just a regular slasher killer, but then at the end you see a dude put back the traps... ok... but how the truck driver wouldn't had see the dude even if he did not hurt him... anyway...

Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!
