I met the show's artist, Gary Baseman.
Gary Baseman visited my school this past week and did a presentation featuring his artwork, including this show. He's definitely a very interesting person to meet and learn about.
I had never watched Teacher's Pet before, but not I have a strong interest, especially to catch little artistic nods to his other works. I watched one episode and cracked up at the line about an auction site: "one man's junk is another man's jewels." He doesn't write the scripts, but his artwork really makes it a great show to watch, as any cartoon requires as much as anything else.
