When they finally steal the egg and replace it with the hologram, the egg shows up instantly. But when Negel turns it on, it takes a couple seconds. The Julia Roberts thing was way funny though. 😂

Linus turns it on a few seconds before he makes the switch so that the egg will show up as soon as he puts the base down. Remember, the "on button" is on the underside of the base and they have no control over the cameras so they can't be wasting time fiddling with it to turn it on and then waiting for the hologram to appear. The sequence of events goes like this: Turk opens the bag, Linus turns on the hologram which is still hidden inside his jacket, Saul signals to Tess to faint and Linus makes the switch while everyone's fussing over her.
