Theres no in your face homosexuality but I think it's obvious that Capt Hook is an aging "pirate" and Peter is the one boy he could never have. The Croc is one of Hooks one night stands who chases after him for another taste. And a couple of the lost boys seem to be a bit light in thier loafers. I really wouldn't consider it a gay movie though, just a movie with some gay characters and hell nowdays what movie doesn't have gay characters???

That's a good response. I think we need to keep in mind that "gay" and "homoerotic" and "homosocial" are all related but not quite the same thing. There's a fascinating film with Ian Holm as J.M. Barrie called THE LOST BOYS that explores the author's deep love and attraction to young boys. It's not pedophilia in a physical sense but emotionally. Men used to be able to feel and express deep friendship, love and playfulness without everybody assuming it was going to become physically/genitally sexual. Combine Barrie's psyche with prevailing attitudes toward masculine love and you get a highly charged story that easily "comes out" in our 21st century understanding in ways that weren't understood when PETER PAN was new.
