currently dating a firefighter and finds this really hard to watch? I used to love this movie until I started dating my firefighter and now it just gets harder to watch especially the scene where they go tell Linda that Jack died =( makes me just wanna hug mine.

I actually was when this came out, so ya I get where you're coming from, though I should also say that with two brothers as veterans (got them both back for good now honorably discharged, yay!) you sort of find a way to deal day to day with the possibility that one of those days might come where you learn just how much his (or her) uniform is unique and how the ones walking slowly up to your front door look nothing like the one you were hoping to see.
