This movie was OK. But I'll never understand why the producers thought that portraying a professional firefighter as someone that should be stocking shelves at Walmart was a good idea. If he only drove the truck, I could let it ride that he was a simpleton. It almost reminded me of Forrest Gump. No, I'm not saying it was that bad, but pretty close.

Are you a fire fighter? Have you gone through any training in a civil service and then applied that training to real life scenarios? What you consider "simpleton" behaviour is more new nerves of a stressful job. It's nothing like sitting in a classroom or working at a Starbucks.
