Disappointing, I saw it in cinema few months ago and i hoped it'd be good thriller as the trailer showed, but that was false advertising :( i was actually bored throughout the film and Julianne Moor's character drove me mad whinging all the time =|

It was a strange movie, I kind of thought they were trying to live off of A Time to Kill, with racism as a backdrop to the whole dramatic plot of the woman's boy being kidnapped.
But it was a stupid movie about a dumb white lady dragging the police all around town trying to find the kidnappers of her son, and then finally telling him he had overdose on some cough syrup because he wouldn't be quiet...she negligently let her child go in the room and take cough syrup because she was more interested in some idiot black guy
I understand that this is just a movie, and they do things just for dramatic purposes, because I can't see why it took her so long, and why she played so stupid, when they asked her question after question, and the same questions over and over, she just couldn't answer, she just sit there looking, it's like she needed to be in a mental institute
it's a waste of time to see this movie, what did "Freedom Land" have to do with the movie, Sam Jackson asked if she think he's at freedomland, but she ask "what's freedomland"
