Zora the pig

I don't know if she was ever really fat or what. But that NutriSystem commercial she's on now is annoying. She says it's the first time she's ever been happy with her body, after going from a size 10 to a size 4. Is being a size 10 fat? Come on! I'd rather be a size 10 than a size 4, because whenever I go shopping I see more size 10 jeans around than other sizes. I used to work at a Fashion Bug store, and this girl came in asking if we carried size 1 jeans & saying she can never find that size. No wonder...the first thing people are going to go for are the sizes that there aren't much of...usually the really, really small sizes and the really, really big sizes.

But that commercial...I mean, sure, it's better to be healthy...but what is the message here? That you can't feel good about yourself unless you're a size 4, or less? Nothing against Zora, since she's getting paid to say certain lines. But just once I want to see a commercial about a weight loss program where the people dropped from a size in the 20s or 30s and now they are a size 10, 12, or even 14. None of those 3 sizes are big, yet so many people act like the person who is a size 14 is a fat pig and make fun of them. That's why so many young girls starve themselves...because of the Hollywood too thin image, and also how guys treat young girls if they have an ounce of fat on them. They don't even want to be your friend. Well, some guys anyway are jerks like that...I don't believe they all are. I say, don't look up to certain celebrities who are getting so thin, at least not for their appearance anyway. Look up to them for what talent they may have. But as for looking up to celebrities for appearance, there are plenty who have not bought into the Hollywood idea that they have to be thin as a rail to get work & be on the A list. As for the type of guy who only wants to pay attention to those who are rail thin & act like all other girls are a waste, those type of guys aren't worth the time.
