Daisy is an acquired taste.

At first I said she was a bitch, but my view of her has softened.

Not really. She has had a hard time in life, and in death. When your last thought in life was "Why has no one ever loved me?" you tend to be a little bitchy.

She really has a soft heart.

Be careful who you hate, it could be someone you love.

Daisy told the painter "Look at me, I'm as light as a feather". The painter replied "no, there's more, but you have to try harder".

Also, I believe that she was sent to Rube's group so he could help her. She might have been the next to get her lights if there was a season three.

Totally agree. She just didn't have a chance in life, and even in death, she was not ready to be what she needed to be. I'm thinking that George and Mason had a lot to do with her changes as well. Living with George was good for her, and Mason loved her unconditionally. Even when he didn't like her, he loved her. That can go a long way to improving a person.

George fighting so hard against Rube at first. Not knowing that she would not only become a reaper but also a head reaper.

Daisy, finding religion and rethinking her life after so many years.

And the scene where she ran the knife through her hand in front of the priest, getting him to rethink his cynical views. Wow!

Good points all. I have softened my view of her, especially in the light of her last thought "why did nobody ever love me?"

And OMG is she ever better than her replacement in the mediocre movie of 2009!
