DLM makes the list:

and three of my favorites: Trauma, Mercy and The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (one season each). I always thought Brisco would be back, in at least one movie, but then star Julius Carry died. Now it wouldn't be the same, kinda like DLM without Mandy.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Firefly now that Nathan Fillion and Joss Whedon are free (and RICH).

Do you get Comet? How cool is it to see DLM back in prime time? They show two episodes in a row every Tues. night. Hopefully introducing the show to lots of new fans, many who probably never heard of it before.

Joss has been rich for some time. He's had plenty of time and opportunity to restart it, but hasn't done so. So any revival for Firefly won't be coming from him.

I think you're right about new fans for DLM. It will be around for a long while and there are a lot of people who've never heard of it, much less seen it, which makes getting on that list notable.

Having 20 minutes of footage hacked out of every show really hurts, so many great scenes gone. I hope Comet fans enjoy it enough to buy the DVDs.

great show - I've been watching it on Comet, and having never seen it originally, it does seem like a lot is missing and it detracts a lot from the dialogue since the profanity is edited

but dang I'd love to see more Firefly, it always reminded me of the live-action Cowboy Bebop that has never happened

Thanks for the list, Danioton. My faves include Twin Peaks, Lie To Me, Alcatrz, and of course DLM which I just finished watching on Hulu. Why oh WHY did they cancel this? It was one of the best things ever on TV! *beep* morons!!!!
