My favorite scene would have to be when Ji-Hyae discovers that Sang-Min left his umbrella in the shop to go see her in the rain. It seriously gives me goosebumps. The soft violin music playing in the background and the look of realization on her face....so wonderful!!

My favorite scenes are those of Jooh-ha and Joo-hee's outing in the countryside, which lasted far into the night. Various scenes in and around the haunted house, and the rain scene, the splitting of the watermelon, the piggy-back scene and finally, Joon-ha's catching the firefly for Joo-hee, and her giving her necklace to him as a gift. They are all mesmerizing.

That was probably also my favorite scene. It was just adorable

I think it's the first scene in the art gallery. The movement onscreen and the music is absolutely perfect.

I like the vietnam war scene and when the main character ran away from that crazy girl that kept making him do tongue twisters.

reply

I don't think that was Vietnam war. That was Korean Civil War between North & South Korea.

The Korean civil war was in the 50s and this film is set in the 60s and in recent times. Vietnam War was sprouted in the early 60s so I would assume that it was actually the Vietnam war.
