The woman hires the guy to watch her, then she just lays there, practically comatose as he does things to her lifeless body...why was she sooo freaking tired!? How could she not wake up -w/some of the things he was doing to her body, how could she simply "sleep" through them? {strange}

Ever seen/heard about depression? People with severe depression can sleep all day for a week, look/feel comatose etc. She tried to kill herself, so I think it's safe to assume she has depression too.
