The point behind this is aged, stereotypical, and totally false.
It sort of adds to the misandry of today's society, in my opinion. Women hate and degrade the male form and sexuality much more often in Western societies than women, whose bodies might as well be worshipped along with Jesus Christ [symbolism in the film?] And not only are females disgusted by the male body and sexuality, males are. They are afraid of their own bodies and other men, and always feel the need to express this fear, especially in porn. I have seen many straight males commenting about the homosexuality in this film and how they only want to see women, not male anything. It is the male form which has yet to be understood, by society, by women, and by men. Rarely do you see an uncensored penis in cinema, and it is often considered porn, erect or not. [All erections seem to be immediately dubbed as porn.]
It is often women who band together, not men, and push out the males from their little group. There are so many Hollywood movies where women do this, and degrade and insult men as a whole, yet no one dares to comment on that? And here you get a whole film dedicated to the so-called male fear of the female body and sexuality. I have yet to see any films fighting misandry, and what's a real kicker is that a lot of these anti-"misogyny" films are misandrist.
