Bradon vs Henry
I still think Brandon made a better Superman thanks Henry.
shareI think Brandon looks more like the Donner version (C Reeve) but Henry looks looks he was ripped from the pages of the later comic books.
shareCavill looks okay in MOS but now his hairline is trying to run away from his face and it's hilarious.
shareCavill looks like he was ripped from Bryne's Man of Steel books... In his interviews. In the movie he looked like the Hoff and Elvis had a love-child in a colorless wetsuit.

I'm always around! :P ?
shareBrandon was more like the character than Henry was imo.
shareI prefer Brandon Routh, but both are very good. Superman has been blessed with appropriate actors.

To me Brandon Routh made a better Superman based on his looks and also his portrayal of Clark Kent. I believe he did a better job at keeping the character that people are used to seeing on screen while still capable of making it his own role.
shareπ Thank you!!! π
Why can't others see this?? π

I like them both, but I wish Brandon had been given Henry's suit. Brandon's looked terrible. Not because of how he looked in the suit, just the design of the suit itself.
I wish we could have had at least another movie with Brandon. It was good to see the return to krypton scene with Him in though and I love him as Ray Palmer.
shareRouth 100% was and is better. He needs to do another Superman cause mos strayed away from the original.
shareFor me, Brandon as well. I loved Christopher Reeve's Superman and just watched one through four last weekend and Superman Returns this weekend. Brandon picked up the character where Reeve left it, and it doesn't hurt that they look similar to each other.
Henry is a meaner more stoic version of Superman, and while Man of Steel was still good, it wasn't really faithful to the franchise. It was more like Superman on steroids with a bit of Transformers action for those viewers who need to see action in order to appreciate film.
That being said, Brandon made me remember Reeve while Henry made me think of X-men.
I like Henry. Brandon was pretty much Christopher Reeve and we already saw that version.
shareBrandon all the way he acted and sounded and looked like Christopher Reeves the film was also way better tha man of steel it was pretty faithful to the Reeves films.
"Some of the worst things imaginable have been done with the best intentions"
Why do people keep repeating this? Routh's Superman and Clark Kent was nowhere near similar to Reeve's considering that they're supposed to be the same character. One of the many complaints that first came out about this movie was that Superman was more quiet and sullen and Clark Kent was actually more subdued and less bumbling. The character seemed toned down for all intents and purposes.
