Anyone think Silent Warnings is a great Alien movie

As one of the co-writers of the film, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's my understanding from a friend of mine at Universal Home Video that it will be coming out on DVD in August (at least that's when it's scheduled for right now).

Okay I can't say it was a great movie but it had its merits. Like you know when someone is going to jump out and scare yo so you prepare yourself for it but they drag it out so that when it does happen you weren't prepared any more. Billy Zane kicks ass. And it had some decent points. Like the aliends and demons and the ending and superior races trying to destroy others (look at the US).
I thought Signs sucked and couldn't sit through it (which is unusual for me). This film has its merits!

Original? why is this original? have u ppl heard of the broadcast of WKBW's famed remake of 'War of the Worlds' (1968)? that was original, that script was original...this? i'm sorry to say this, but this movie sucks...big time

I saw this movie on DVD in Sweden. It started with a great build-up IMO but lost the plot. Didn't like the end. I give it 6/10 which could have been much higher with a better follow up to the plot, ending and with a better budget.
My friends was divided about the movie. Their scores ranged from 5 out of 5 to 0 out of 5 :)

Well I just saw this one on HBO, I cant make an objective critic cuz I didnt see it from the beggining but for what I saw, just like signs, it was cool until the aliens showed up... I mean come on! I can make better aliens using a regular video camara and frame by frame animation using my old toys!

Though it felt a bit too much like signs, i think it served it's purpose of keeping me interested, at least until the first alien appeared and then all the weird "theories" were formulated... I mean electricity blocking teleporting beams? iron repeling dark spirits? please...

They should've saved the house explotion scene and use the money for hiring better animators for the aliens...

Also, the ending sucked... it again felt like the ending from another movie... I dont remember the name but it's also about aliens... about meteors and stuff and all the cities in the world are destroyed and the ending is a radio voice saying the names of the cities being destroyed...

Anyway... not a great movie and the small budget and poor ending really dissapointed me but while the suspense lasted, it kept me entertained. Someone should pick up this script, make up a good ending for it and launch it as a bigger budget movie.
