Please help me I missed the ending [spoilers]

Hi, I recorded this as a midday movie this week. I was watching the recording tonight and in the middle they had a news break for the father of Jill Meagher making an impassioned speech about his late daughter. That was understandable and it's a murder case that has had a deep effect on our Melbourne community. I may appear selfish but having sat through all this movie right up until the part where they say they removed all the iron from the house and the transformer has blown, then the recording ended. I gather from another post that they left the house. They heard that five state had no power and that an invasion started. Is that about all I need to know? Thanks in advance.
