I am a bit confused by the invasion aspect. We're being invaded by aliens who are allergic to... uhm... iron? And appear not to wear body armor? This seems like the shortest invasion ever, as iron is the basis of practically EVERY weapon used in conventional warfare. It's like saying humans are going to invade the planet of some race which uses solid cobra venom for all their bullets. Just plain unwise.

What about the idiotic "Signs"? The aliens are killed by precipitation and water! How stupid are THEY, observing Earth but missing that particular problem. What a ridiculous, poorly made and terribly written film!
This one is worse but not by much.
Why do people think that "Signs" is original?! Is it because they hide out most of the time and the filmmakers save money on special effects?
An allergy to iron actually isn't as downright dumb as being susceptible to precipitation/water!
