It would be a good idea.

The comedy aspect used in the video games is just fantastic and the animation is brilliant!

The only problems that occur, however, would be:

1) What would be the storyline? They'll have to do something really original. Don't get me wrong, I think that they could quite easily do this, the minds behind R&C are great. But what would be the next plot?
2) If a movie WERE to be made, would the games continue or stop? If it was a choice between a movie or continuation of the games, I'd have to go for the games. Sorry!
3) Is there much of a market for video games to movies? Personally, I don't think there is. While I would go out to see it (and love it, I'm sure), I don't know anyone else who has even played the game. I mention it to them and they look at me like I'm crazy!

So what would you have as the plot? Remember that you have to follow the story of what has happened in the previous games.

No way it will be PG13 and of course this movie could be true to the game without it....they were very silly games that were amazing but obviously geared toward a young audience.
