Pokemon Popularity

For those asking why they keep making these movies & shows, I have a simple answer. They're already made! Well, not all of them, but they are made about a year before in Japan, then released in the U.S. The show is apparently still popular there as well as here. It doesn't matter if you like or dislike it, the numbers show. There are almost 300 episodes aired here in the US. That's almost as much as the "record breaking" Simpsons. There must be a reason why they are shown 3 times each Saturday on the WB.

I admit, the movies are lacking in entertainment, but the show is just as good. This show will run forever & it deserves it. It's wildly entertaining & fun to watch with your kids.

I am 15 years old and I STILL like Pokemon. Pokemon is my most favorite anime, so those of you who like Pokemon like I do, be proud of yourselves (applauses). The rest of you, BACK OFF (boo and hisses)! I'm glad it's not dead yet. So, keep it up, Pokemon, because you're #1! (that rhymes, doesn't it?)(raises both of my hands and says, "YEAH!")

Well, if pokemon ever dies here in America(which i doubt it will) we can always move to Japan!

How does that rhyme?!

omg do you actually pronounce it Poh-kay-maun?

*shudders* If you want to pronounce it like Japanese do; say:

"Poh-keh-mon" or "Poh-keh-toe Mon-staah"

or you can pronounce it:

"Poe-kah-mon" which is what I believe is the correct Western pronunciation.

at least it had no popularity thank god when this came out.
remember length of episodes does not determine quality of series
ps. the simpsons to most people has gone downhill
