What's the matter with you guys? I just started playing yesterday (I finished ROTK, and while I had read that ROTK was an improved TTT, TTT is so cheap now I decided to try it), and I'm already past Amon Hen. And no, I wasn't playing all day (I didn't first play until after 4:30, and I stopped to prepare dinner for my family, and I didn't play after 8:00 (Simpsons).

Two things: first, play one character all the way through. If you want to play a different character, start that character at the beginning. The levels obviously get harder as you progress, so don't progress with a character that hasn't built his way up there.

Second, when fighting the Lurtz (is that who it is?) at the end of Amon Hen, back up near the stone "pillar" type things... his sword gets stuck in the stone, and gives you time to beat the hell out of him while he's trying to pull it out. Another thing is to buy "rising attack" or whatever it's called, as one of your first upgrades. That's the one that lets you attack when you are on your way up after being hit. If he knocks you down, you can stun him with this move when you get up and get a few attacks on him. I also recommend buying the fast-fast-severe attack (it's called "Orc Hewar" in ROTK, in TTT it's called something like "Isildur's Swift Terror"). On PS2 it's X-X-triangle. (Those are Aragorn moves, I don't know what they are called for Gimli or Legolas).

Games quite good so far. ROTK is better, more polished, but the only thing I really miss is co-op play.

A chance for Faramir, Captain of Gondor, to show his quality...
