I am sooooooo glad this is rated R....we need more R rated comedy's because every movie that comes out these days is pg-13.......Now Glick can be perverse and sick without comedy central censors!!

i dont think this should be rated R!!! Its not as bad (crude) as some comedies out there (example: Freddy Got Fingered)
shareOh, it definitely deserved an "R" rating. I'd have preferred it a little less crude, a little more sly and subtle, but Martin Short as Jiminy Glick is genuinely funny.
shareEven though I loved this movie, Andre's line:
"I'll take out my c*ck and you make it happy..."
gives it a reason for R. Also the sex scene with Glick and his wife Dixie. And Ben saying the f word every five seconds in the scene when he was playing the video game with the mice.
I wasn't too impressed the 1st time I saw the movie, but after watching it again, it is just friggin' hilarious. Pretty much everything that comes out of Andre's mouth makes it an R, so there's no way PG-13 would work without hurting that character. I can't believe that's John Michael Higgins from all the Christopher Guest movies (and loads others I've seen) playing Andre, really never even crossed my mind it wasn't a legit foreigner (and I also find out he played Letterman on "The Late Shift"?! Woah...).
