This was painfully UNfunny. Martin Short was funny 20 years ago, and he gives a great interview, but people--Jiminy Glick is horrific. It's so bad, I felt bad for Jan Hooks! The TV show is abysmal, but this is worse since it's longer.

Here's a guide for you fools that were entertained by this tripe:

Funny: Kids in the Hall, Strangers With Candy, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, Fletch, Midnight Run, the Daily Show.

NOT Funny: Jiminy Glick, Ellen Degeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live after 1999, George Lopez.

Get it straight!

Funny: Martin Short in a fat-suit sweating profusely from his forehead while lurking behind Kevin Kline at a film festival after-party.

NOT funny: some fat, pony-tailed-guy in denim shorts and a novelty tee-shirt sitting in an apartment cluttered with Taco Bell litter profusely sweating all over his Mountain Dew misted-keyboard telling us what should make us laugh and what shouldn't...

I think that's extremely funny, and sounds like a great vehicle for Martin Short.

Even more unfunny is a d bag that thinks this movie has any comedic value.

OK first of all Jiminy Glick is the worst character EVER!!! Martin Short is soooo funny as himself, but not as Jiminy Glick. Saturday Night Live after 1999 is freakin HILARIOUS!!! So is Jimmy Falon and Ellen DeGennerous. I ain't too crazy about George Lopez, though.

People may find different things funny - it's what gives us personality!! I for example, introduced my friend to 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' I was howling away ('I'm french! Why do you think I have this outRAGEOUS accent, you silly king!) and she was just like 'ha.. ha.. *eyes shift*' Kids in the hall is awesome too. I can't really comment on 'SNL after 1999' because I'm 15. By the way, Ellen Degeneres is funny. Ciao!

Strangers With Candy was awesome. I will never watch this movie. George Lopez was good for about 4 minutes. But Carlos Mencia blows 'em out of the water. Martin Short just needs to make Pure Luck 2 and forget about Glick.

Stranger's With Candy absolutely, totally and utterly SUCKS. Quite possibly the worst show ever. When I'm home sick (which happens pretty frequently) and I wake up at 12 to watch TV and I see that horrible show.. it dampens my day.

Jiminy Glick is the funniest line of movies ever and he pwns.

Carlos Mencia + George Lopez are really funny, but when it comes down to it... they only talk about 'beaners' and Mexicans. Only. Which becomes annoying.

I agree with your funny list completley! (Especially about Monty Python and Fawlty Towers, John Cleese has got to be the funniest man on earth) But I also think that all the people on your not funny list are funny too, I love George Lopez! Anyway, just wanted to reply to your post in partial agreement ^_^.
Oh, and also, I would add Upright Citizens Brigade to your list of funny.

Hmm I must have pretty strange tasste in comedy then because I love everything in the "Funny" column and also really like Jiminy Glick, SNL after 1999, and ocasionally enjoy Jimmy Fallon's work

I thought it was funny and I'm only 14....so I'm probably too young to say anything, but yeah. Martin is hilarious in this one (as he is in all of his roles)
